How old do I need to be to rent a bicycle?
You must be 16 years or older to rent a bicycle. Riders under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
How much does it cost to rent a bicycle in Central Park?
Rates start at:
- $10 per hour (3-hour package)
- $12.50 per hour (2-hour package)
- General rates start at $15 per hour
How much does it cost to rent an electric scooter?
Rates start at:
- $17 per hour (3-hour package)
- $15 per hour (4-hour package)

Is there a minimum age requirement for riding an e-scooter?
Riders must be 16 years or older. Riders under 16 may ride only if accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Yes. We can combine bike and pedicab tours so your group can ride and explore together.
What is a pedicab (rickshaw), and what is it like to ride one?
A pedicab, also known as a cycle rickshaw, is an eco-friendly vehicle with pedal assist. It offers a relaxed and comfortable sightseeing experience.
How many people fit in one pedicab?
A pedicab can carry up to 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children under 8 years old (maximum of 3 adults).
How much weight can a pedicab carry?
A single pedicab can safely carry up to 525 pounds (approximately 240 kg).
How long does it take to see Central Park by pedicab?
A 45-minute to 1-hour tour covers the main highlights with photo stops. Tour options include:
- 1-Hour Tour: 58th–77th St
- 2-Hour Tour: 59th–95th St
- 3-Hour Tour: Entire park
Additional time on longer tours is free of charge.
Can I customize my pedicab tour?
Yes. You can customize your tour by telling your guide which attractions to visit, skip, or spend more time at.
How early do pedicab tours start?
Early tours are available by request. The earliest start time is 7:00 AM with advance reservation required.
Do I need to wear a bicycle helmet?
Yes. Cyclists under 13 years old are required by law to wear a helmet.
What should I wear for a Central Park bike tour?
Wear comfortable shoes and season-appropriate clothing. Please note that we do not offer locker or luggage storage.
What should I wear for winter cycling?
Dress warmly, especially protecting your hands and feet. Closed shoes and gloves are strongly recommended. Sandals are not allowed in any season.
What happens if my bike is stolen or damaged?
Rental bikes are the renter’s responsibility. Damaged or stolen bikes must be paid for. The lost bike fee is $300. A bike lock is provided with every rental.
What is the terrain like for biking in Central Park?
Central Park offers a mix of flat and gently hilly terrain suitable for all skill levels. The main loops measure 6.1 miles, 4.2 miles, and 2.5 miles.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel at least 24 hours in advance for a full refund — no questions asked.
Are tips or gratuities included in the price?
No. Tips are not included but are greatly appreciated for excellent service.
